Our tasks

The selection of personnel is a central task for us and is carried out in close cooperation with the respective offices. Once the application has been received, applicants are sent a written confirmation of receipt. As a rule, the entire process, including the subsequent pre-selection, interviews and decision-making, takes several weeks. The positive or negative decision is made in writing.

We are responsible for the organizational development of all offices and support them in the following areas:

  • Reorganization
  • Organizational analyses
  • Structural and procedural organizations
  • Job classifications
  • Job descriptions
  • Functions and competence diagrams

We coordinate the salary administration for the entire Liechtenstein National Administration. In addition to the salaries of our employees, the following stakeholder groups are also paid their salaries:

  • Teachers (contact: Office of Education)
  • Music teachers (contact person: music school)
  • Employees of the University of Liechtenstein (contact: University of Liechtenstein)
  • Employees of the Liechtenstein Financial Market Authority (contact: Liechtenstein Financial Market Authority)

Compensation

We are also responsible for settling the compensation paid to dependent employees of commissions, foundation boards, collegial courts, etc. who carry out tasks on behalf of the state.

Salary table

The Salaries Act (BesG) contains the salary table in the appendix. According to Art. 28 para. 2 BesG, this must be adjusted to inflation.

Work and social interaction in the company have a significant impact on employees' health. Our occupational health management aims to design and develop structures and processes at work that promote health. This includes areas such as

  • Occupational safety/health protection (e.g. ergonomics advice)
  • Health promotion (courses, seminars, campaigns, team development measures)
  • Absence and case management (support for long-term illnesses)
