Online services in EU/EEA member states
Liechtenstein citizens and persons from abroad who have obtained the eID.li at the counter of the Migration and Passport Office can use it to register with electronic services of other EU/EEA member states, provided that the eID.li has been integrated by them as a registration procedure.
Liechtenstein citizens who have obtained the eID.li via video identification can use it to log in to some, but not all, online services of other EU/EEA member states, provided that the eID.li has been integrated by them as a login procedure.
Foreign nationals who have obtained the eID.li via video identification can not use it for online services of other EU/EEA member states.
Please note: For logins to electronic services in other EU/EEA member states, the biometrics of the mobile device will be deactivated in the meantime and you must log in with the eID.li app password.Carrying digital evidence
If a person has one or more proofs of identity, they can import a digitalised version into the "Documents" section of the eID.li app. The current data from the relevant register of the state administration is used for each proof.
If you have a driving licence in credit card format in Liechtenstein, you can import it in digitalised form into the "Documents" section of the eID.li app.
The driving licence complies with the international ISO standard and has a QR code for checking validity using an external verifier app. The driving licence is stored in the eID.li app and remains available even in the event of a network failure.

You can find more information about the digital driver's license here.
If you are registered in Liechtenstein as the holder of a cross-border commuter registration confirmation (GMB), you can import a digitalised version into the “Documents” section of the eID.li app. The confirmation remains saved in the eID.li app and can also be used if the internet connection fails.
