Specialised Unit for Public Procurement
The Specialised Unit for Public Procurement (FAW) is a Division of the Government Chancellery Staff Unit, which reports directly to the Collegial Government. Day-to-day supervision is exercised by the Prime Minister.
Its remit covers the following main areas:
- Central point of contact and advice for applicants, tenderers, contractors and clients
- Development of strategies, concepts, measures and instruments for the optimal implementation and further development of the public procurement sector
- Preparation and evaluation of public procurement statistics
- Statistics on public work awards above and below the threshold values
- Helping to define European Union directives and drawing up proposals for their implementation in national laws and regulations

Location

Kirchstrasse 8 is centrally located in Vaduz, close to St. Florin’s Cathedral. If you are traveling by car, head toward Vaduz Center. Turn off the main road onto Kirchstrasse. Number 8 is on the left-hand side, near the government district. Parking is available along the street or in nearby parking garages.
If using public transport, get off at the Vaduz Post bus stop. From there, it’s about a five to seven-minute walk. Walk north along the main road and turn right onto Kirchstrasse. Number 8 is on the left-hand side, close to the cathedral.
